  1. Good day Sir/madam

Trust this email finds you well.

I have a funeral cover with Liberty which is part of FNB. I was introduced to this funeral cover around 1998. This covered my family.

However, in the long range my children exceeded the funeral cover ages and were automatically removed. My concern is:

Several years ago the funeral cover was considered extinct. It began with a pay out of around R15000 for myself and then it increased to R20000 and stopped. I was then contacted and advised that it could be increased to R30000 on a new funeral policy with Liberty. The problem then was it now reflects on 2 different policies with one for R20000 and the other for R10000.

My concern at the moment is what I am paying per month and payout is not matching up. Some policies today if an individual is paying about R150 a month they can expect up to R70000-100000 pay out.

What should I then do to sort this out?

    – I want a personal policy for myself.

    What should I do?

-do I need to surrender the existing policies and get paid out or, can it be carried over to a better policy with FNB that awards a better pay out, or alternatively just surrender it, and collect all the money with interest then cancel it, and seek elsewhere for better payouts.

I have sent emails to liberty but have not received any response as yet, or acknowledgment of receipt of queries.

My policy keeps going up, but payouts are remaining the same. What can be done with R30000 in this day and age?

Thanks in advance for a speedy response.

    Regards

    Anthony Small
